Sue Ann Van Dermydan to Co-Lead AWI Report Writing Workshop

This online workshop is a three-hour interactive program designed to improve participants’ investigative report writing skills. Attendees will discuss effective report writing skills and have the opportunity to practice writing the analysis section of a report through small group activities in breakout rooms.

Details

By attending this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Explain the purpose of an investigation report

  • List the common elements in an investigation report

  • Summarize evidence to make factual findings

  • Write an analysis of facts

  • Demonstrate strong investigative writing skills

The workshop will be facilitated by Sue Ann Van Dermyden and Nick Slabaugh, experienced and knowledgeable subject matter experts from both an external and internal investigation perspective.

The Report Writing Workshop is the third of three core-skills-based programs offered by AWI in 2025.

Space is limited due to the interactive nature of the workshop. The workshop is intended for those who have attended the AWI Basics Seminar or have some experience conducting workplace investigations.
