Due to COVID-19 all work-related travel has been suspended for the foreseeable future. Firm policies about COVID-19 are updated and communicated to employees in a decisive and effective manner, so all employees are apprised of the changing status of COVID-19 and how it affects the workplace.

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Assist multiple attorneys by managing their caseload of investigations from start to finish, including:

    • Managing documents in a document management system (both hard-copy and electronic)

    • Scheduling witness interviews

    • Proofreading and formatting investigative reports

    • Coordinating delivery of reports and supporting documents to clients

    • Performing document retention/case closure-related responsibilities

  • Create first draft of portions of investigative reports for attorney review, which will include:

    • Synthesizing, collating, organizing and reviewing large amounts of information and data (including witness interview notes, emails and other documentary evidence) 

    • Drafting written sections, chronologies and charts

  • Other projects, as assigned

Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or Political Science, highly desired.  Strong writing skills and the ability to think analytically are required.  Previous law firm experience, including exposure to different types of legal writing, desired.  Be able to adjust to an ever-changing work day.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position.  Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.  

Compensation will be determined based on qualifications and experience.  Robust benefits package provided, including medical, dental, vision, LTD, and 401(k) with employer contribution.
