VM to Sponsor The Carrie Bobb Foundation Event

Van Dermyden Makus will be a title sponsor of The Carrie Bobb Foundation’s upcoming event, “Your Vision, Your Brand, It’s Your Story.”

 This afternoon of storytelling and inspiration with a star-studded lineup will take place on February 22, 2022 at 2:22pm in the Terrace Area of the Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa, in Rancho Santa Fe, California. This event honors all the incredible work The Carrie Bobb Foundation does and includes a Happy Hour with carefully curated beverages and appetizers.

 The purpose of this event is to encourage and guide women to combine professional and personal development. The panel is made up of highly sought-after individuals and includes:

  • Lex Gillette: Lex is a blind Olympian who has won many medals over the years, including a Silver Medal in Tokyo. He is also a TEDx speaker and author of FLY!: Find Your Own Wings And Soar Above Life's Challenges.

  • Jerome Avery: Jerome is an Olympic athlete and guide runner for the blind with U.S. Paralympics Track & Field since 2004. Jerome has guided Paralympians such as Lex Gillette, Josiah Jamison, and David Brown.

  • Carrie Bobb: Carrie is the CEO of Carrie Bobb & Co and Co-Founder of The Carrie Bobb Foundation. She helps create opportunities for businesses to solve social issues while changing laws in the USA to keep employees safer at work.

  • Allison Weiss: Allison is the Founder and CEO of Growing Careers & Companies, works with companies across the nation, and leads a women's mastermind group, a podcast, and an online clubhouse.

  • Kelly Modén: Kelly is the Founder and CEO of cREate development—a woman-owned real estate development company—and is on the SD Planning Commission and Specialty Housing Committee for the Mayor of San Diego.
