Executive Assistant – Sacramento, CA

We are seeking a dynamic full-time Executive Assistant to work with the Firm’s Partner Team in the Sacramento office.  This is a full-time, non-exempt position with the ability to work in a hybrid arrangement. A successful candidate must have at least two years of relevant experience effectively partnering with and supporting principals, executives, and senior leaders, and be an extremely detail-oriented, organized and proactive person. This role will support a Senior Partner, a Partner and be a part of the office services team. Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. As an Executive Assistant at VM, you can expect to:

  • Book, coordinate and calendar complex travel arrangements with an eye towards cost and time-effective travel routes

  • Complex calendar management, including scheduling meetings with clients in-person and via Zoom

  • Email inbox management

  • Assist Partners with case management, including saving client correspondence and related tasks

  • Assist Partners with business development projects, including researching, managing and updating client lists

  • Assist with projects related to Senior Partners’ professional organizations and teaching responsibilities

  • Respond to client and colleague inquiries

  • Prepare presentation materials

  • Assist with occasional office services related tasks

  • Other projects, as assigned

Requirements:

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Extensive experience coordinating, booking and calendaring travel arrangements, including flights, trains, hotels, and car rentals

  • Effective organizational skills and ability to use necessary computer applications, including the Microsoft Office Suite

  • Must be able to maximize time and effort in addressing position responsibilities, as well as quick adaptation to changes in priorities

  • Strong listening and communication skills and the ability to accept and implement feedback

  • Positive, professional and approachable attitude and demeanor and the ability to collaborate with others

  • Common sense, flexibility and the ability to work individually and as part of a team

The salary range for this role is $65,000 - $72,000 and represents the Firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience and qualifications.
